On February 15, 2023, representatives of the Institute took part in the international scientific and practical conference «Belarusian Justice: Historical Experience and Modernity», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus.
Director of the Institute O. N. Zdrok made a presentation on the topic: «Special training for the position of a judge and qualification upgrading of judges: a direction for improving the activities of the Institute».
On December 19, 2022, a meeting of the Council of the Institute was held.
The report «Results of scientific and innovative activities of the Institute for Retraining and Qualification Upgrading of Judges, Prosecutors and Legal Professionals at the Belarusian State University» was made by the Deputy Director for Science and Methodology Snezhana Leshchenko, PhD in Law.
Members of the Council took an active part in the discussion of the report.
The execution of the next stage of research work on the topic «The Practice of Justice and Law Enforcement as a Basis for Improving Legislation in the Context of the Regularities of the National Legal System» was considered.
Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Vladimir Moroz, PhD in Law presented a report «On the Work Plan of the Institute for Retraining and Qualification Upgrading of Judges, Prosecutors and Legal Professionals at the Belarusian State University». A lively discussion took place.
On December 9, 2022, the Head of the Department of Judicial Work, Associate Professor Ekaterina Novikova took part in the IV Eurasian Human Rights Forum «Human Rights and Fair Justice: Modern Trends and New Vectors», organized by the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Novikova made a presentation on the topic: «Implementation of the Principle of Justice in the Formulation of Criminal Law Sanctions and Sentencing».
