On May 6, 2024, the Institute held training courses (thematic seminar) on the topic “Anti-corruption in the Republic of Belarus” for heads of state and non-state owned organizations.
The speakers of the training courses were: Alexander Barkov, Professor of the Department of Judicial Activities of the Institute, Natalya Polyashchuk, Deputy Head of the Department - Head of the Department of Scientific and Methodological Support of Legal Informatization of the Legal Informatization Directorate of the National Center for Legal Information and Evgeny Lapkovsky, Deputy Head of the Department of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus.
The following issues were discussed during the seminar:
- criteria for determining the range of corruption crimes;
- subjects of corruption crimes, the relationship between the characteristics of subjects of corruption offenses in the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated July 15, 2015 No. 305-3 “On the fight against corruption” and the characteristics of an official in Part 4 Art. 4 of the Criminal Code;
- system of measures to prevent corruption;
- types of legal liability for corruption offenses;
- practice of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of anti-corruption legislation.
At the end of the training, students were awarded training certificates.
