The Institute for retraining and qualification upgrading of judges, prosecutors and legal professionals at the Belarusian State University continues active interaction with the Belarusian Republican Bar Association (BRBA).
On May 2, 2024, 32 lawyers were trained in the one-day training course “LABOR RELATIONS: BASICS, NEWS, PRACTICE.”
The head of the department of prosecutorial activity, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Lyudmila Zaitseva and deputy chairman of the BRKA Elena Bylina addressed the audience with welcoming words.
The speakers of the training courses were retired judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Rimma Filipchik, judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Anna Sokolovskaya Mikhailovna and Natalya Andreeva.
The problem field of the thematic intensive included issues of concluding and amending employment agreements (contracts), judicial practice of consideration by courts of civil cases on the termination of employment agreements (contracts), especially compensation for material damage and moral harm caused to an employee by illegal decisions of the employer.
