History of the laboratory: In order to ensure and improve the educational process, development at the Institute for Scientific Research, on June 28, 2002 (order of the director of the Institute No. 7-OD), a training laboratory for judicial and other law enforcement practice was established. On September 1, 2005, this laboratory was transformed into a training laboratory for judicial practice and methodological support of the educational process (order of the director of the Institute No. 19-OD). In order to improve the quality of educational and methodological work, the systematic introduction of innovative forms of education into the educational process, the use of new information technologies, on December 31, 2010 (order of the director of the Institute No. 18-OD), the laboratory was transformed into an educational laboratory of information technologies and methodological support of the educational process. In order to improve the organization of the structure of the Institute, to improve the quality of educational and methodological work, on December 1, 2020 (order of the Director of the Institute No. 66-OD), the laboratory was renamed the educational laboratory of information technologies.
The laboratory was established to provide the educational process and research activities of the Institute with modern information technologies and means of telecommunications, to carry out the functions of publishing and replicating educational and methodological materials, to improve the quality of the information culture of the teaching staff, employees and audience of the Institute. The main tasks of the laboratory: - creating conditions for the development, along with the traditional, of new forms of organization of the educational process at the Institute through the use of modern information technologies and telecommunications; - introduction of new methods and organizational forms of educational work into the educational process; - monitoring of available methods and ready-made solutions for the use of modern information technologies in the organization of the educational process, taking into account the needs of the Institute; - ensuring the use of interactive forms of multimedia learning technologies in the educational process; - development and improvement of the educational process, educational, methodological and scientific work at the Institute; - educational and methodological support for conducting classes with audience, including using materials from law enforcement practice; - organization of training for retraining and advanced training of audience of the Institute in the field of modern information technologies and telecommunications |
